A 13x13-square board that is simple and quick to play. This scenario has no Bonus Words.
"CrossWords"
Based on those familiar newspaper puzzles, this board simulates the crossword experience. It's theme is 'Heavenly Bodies' -- if you spell the name of a planet or moon in our Solar System you get a 20 point bonus!
"Deluxe"
This X-themed board gives you the greatest possible number of squares to play on as well as a good number of multiplier squares. Enjoy!
"Pirates' Booty"
Designed for kids, this scenario features buried treasure, birds, fish and the Jolly-Roger. Dive to the bottom of the board for big bonuses or spell a treasure word for a 25-point bonus!
"Race to the End"
Start in the upper left corner and wind your way around the race track to finish. Careful what you spell in the corners though -- you could "wipe out" and bring the game to an early finish. (Which might not be a bad play if you're winning by a lot going into a curve!)
Why Register:
After an ample trial period, all but the first scenario are reserved for registered users. Additional scenarios created by our programmers (and by our fans) will be available to registered users on the CD-ROM version of the game and from our website on the internet.

Making Scenarios:
You can modify the board size, the layout of barrier and multiplier squares, the number of letters and their values, and all bonuses. You can also add "bonus words" to a particular scenario, giving it a whole new dimension. If you make a good one let us know!
In short, a new "scenario" in X-Words Deluxe can become a whole new game.
